Hello everyone! As some of you may know, April is National Poetry Month. This holiday was started in 1996 by the Academy of American Poets. Although fairly new holiday, it is still widely celebrated by young students and writers alike. We look at authors such as Silverstein, Frost, and Dickinson and are able to look into another persons mind for just a moment. Poetry is a vast medium that can hep bring out feeling and emotions in a person. One poem can have a million was to understand it. It is a language that has a million dialects.
To celebrate, I am thinking that starting on April 1st, I will post one of my poems once a week! What are your thoughts? Should I, or no? Well, I’m going to anyways; Stayed tuned to enjoy some poetry this National Poetry month.
